I have grown Asiatic lilies for years and they never disappoint returning year after year. ‘Montebello’ is stunning.
It’s hard to beat the beauty of native coneflowers and hyssops for summer bloom. Both of these beauties support a diversity of pollinators, making them not only beautiful but also an important part of your garden’s ecosystem.
Russian sage is always a great choice for long bloom. In fact, I cut mine back in mid-August by 1/3 and it blooms magnificently in late September/ October.
Vivid colors like these make me smile by adding a rich tapestry of colors to the garden.
