Description
Perennial Royal Rembrandt Veronica – VERCONICA ‘Royal Rembrandt’ PP29377 – Artist Series. 18-20” tall with equal spread, full sun-part shade, mid-late summer bloom. Attractive, violet purple paintbrush-like flowers cover the top half of the plant, showcasing its dark green foliage. Attracts butterflies, hummingbirds & is bee friendly. Deer resistant. Zones 4-8. Potted in 3” pot.
Easily grown in average, medium moisture, well-drained soil in full sun. Best performance occurs with consistent, regular moisture with sharp soil drainage (particularly in winter). Tolerates light shade. Remove spent flower spikes to encourage additional bloom. Plants may be cut back to basal growth after flowering.
Great for rock gardens, container gardens, foundations, border fronts and other sunny spots in the landscape. Good edging plant. Best grown in groups or massed.
