ARTEMISIA ‘Garden Ghost’ PP33773. 12-14″ tall, 18-24″ spread, full sun, inconspicuous blooms in late summer. Aptly named, ‘Garden Ghost’ has soft, feathery foliage and forms a dense compact, silky, cushion-like mound. Foliage starts out slightly green then matures to its ghostly silver color. Drought resistant once established. Deer resistant. Zones 4-8. Potted in 3″ pot.
Artemisa has broadly dissected silver leaves that are showy from spring to fall. Use this perennial as a filler in the landscape and spiller in mixed containers. Buff yellow flowers are held on tall scapes. Flowering is not significant and this plant should be considered primarily for its foliage.
