Dwarf. CAREX f. ‘Blue Sedge’. 6-12″ tall, 1-2′ spread, full sun, late spring-early fall bloom. This drought tolerant grass spreads at a very low speed. Narrow, blue-grey leaves grow to be around 6-8″ long. Low maintenance. Deer resistant. Zones 4-9. Potted in 3″ pot.

Cool season. Although insignificant, plumes are tan and emerge early summer. Grow in well-drained soil. Fertilize with slow-release medium rate fertilizer. Do not overwater in Winter. Responds well to being cut back.
