Description
Very easy to grow. Tolerates soil of any fertility and will grow in clay soil. This selection has not been known to reseed and is not invasive. It may be propagated in fall by digging it up and dividing the rhizome with the bulblets attached. Allium is typically pest and disease free. Its aromatic foliage also makes it deer and rabbit resistant.

Perennial Serendipity Ornamental Onion - ALLIUM 'Serendipity'. 15-20" tall, 10-15" spread, full sun-part shade, mid-late summer bloom. A sport of 'Millenium' with all the qualities of the parent and the addition of blue foliage. Globe-like, rosy purple flowers are produced profusely. When crushed, the leaves emit a smell of onion. Attracts butterflies & is bee friendly. Deer & rabbit resistant. Zones 4-8. Potted in 3" pot.
