Warm season. Ruby Muhly Grass is highly sought after for many reasons: Traffic stopping ruby tinged flower spikes. Drought Tolerance and low maintenance nature. When planted in masses, it's breath-taking. Plant in well-drained location. Once established it requires only very little attention. Cut back in early spring 3-4" above the ground.
