Perennial Purple Dragon Deadnettle – LAMIUM m. ‘Purple Dragon’. 4-8″ tall, 14-16″ spread, part sun-full shade, early spring-early summer bloom. Showy silver leaves with thin green edging and hooded purple flowers. A great looking groundcover. Vigorous grower but not invasive. Low maintenance. Bee friendly. Deer & rabbit resistant. Zones 3-9. Potted in 3″ pot.
Lamium forms a robust groundcover that spreads quickly. Leaves are heart shaped with serrated edges. It thrives in part sun to full shade areas. Plant is well-drained areas as over watering will rot the roots. Cut back in fall or winter to remove old and unsightly growth. Self seeder.
