Description
MUHLENBERGIA capillaris. 2-3′ tall with equal spread, full sun-part shade. Fine, dark-green foliage appears somewhat glossy. Showy blooms of delicate pink seed panicles float above the plant like soft clouds. Deer resistant. Zones 5-9. Potted in 3″ pot.
Warm season. Pink Muhly Grass is highly sought after for many reasons: Traffic stopping pink plume color, Drought Tolerance and low maintenance nature. When planted in masses, it's breath-taking. Plant in well-drained location. Once established it requires only very little attention. Cut back in early spring 3-4" above the ground.
