PENNISETUM a. Lumen Gold (‘JS Jommenik’) PP27435. 18-24” tall, 2-3′ spread, full sun, midsummer bloom. Ill-LUMEN-ate your garden or container with this glowing grass. This eye-catching grass emerges gold in spring and turns to a soft lemon yellow in summer. Low maintenance. Warm season. Zones 6-9. Potted in 3″ pot.
Warm Season. The bottlebrush plumes of Fountain Grass are always eye-catching. Pennisetum prefers to be grown in rich loamy soil with good drainage and full sun or light shade. However, it will grow in rocky or sandy soil as long as it remains fairly moist. This grass resents having "wet feet".
