Description
Pennisetum prefers to be grown in rich loamy soil with good drainage and full sun or light shade. However, it will grow in rocky or sandy soil as long as it remains fairly moist. This grass resents having “wet feet”.

Grass Lemon Squeeze Ornamental Fountain - Tall. PENNISETUM a. 'Lemon Squeeze' PPAF CPBRAF. 3-3 ½’ tall, 4-4 ½’ spread, full sun. Behaves like other Fountain Grass but boasts chartreuse gold leaves. One of the best for vigor that we've seen in gold-leafed Pennisetum with absolutely no burning in the sun. Full sun required for brightest gold color. Copper panicles appear above the foliage in midsummer. Deer resistant. Zones 5-9. Potted in 3" pot.
