Description
Liatris is a very strong vertical accent and ‘Kobold’ is one of the best selections available for border gardens. It is a staple item for cutting gardens; it adds a bright, vertical element to bouquets.
Liatris will grow in any quality of soil as long as it is moist and well-drained and sunny. Very tolerant of hot summers.

Perennial Kobold Blazing Star - LIATRIS s. 'Kobold Original'. 18-24" tall, 12-14” spread, full sun, early-midsummer bloom. Lavender flower wands open from top to bottom and appear to glow at the tips. Narrow, opposite leaves are up to 10" across at the base of the plant and decrease in length up the stems. Attracts butterflies & is bee friendly. Deer resistant. Zones 3-9. Potted in 3" pot.
