Description
This potting mix is made with:
Jade Plant Imperial Succulent Mix by rePotme is a free draining mix that is ideal for Jade Plants. The base of the potting mix is coir, imported from Sri Lanka, which is a clean, easy to use medium derived from coconut husk. Small sponge rock and Hydroton are then added to help break up the mix and add additional drainage. Vermiculite will help the coir to ensure your Jade Plant gets the optimal amount of water during each watering.
The Jade Plant, also commonly known as the Money Plant, Friendship Tree, Silver Dollar Plant, or Lucky Plant (all varieties of Crassula ovata), thrives exceptionally well in this potting mix. This mix is meticulously crafted to cater to the unique requirements of these plants, ensuring optimal growth and health. The blend of coir, sponge rock, Hydroton, and vermiculite provides an ideal balance of drainage and aeration, key factors in preventing root rot and promoting robust root development. This specialized mix allows these popular succulents, renowned for their lush, green leaves and symbolic associations with prosperity and friendship, to flourish in a variety of indoor and outdoor settings.
This mix is distinguished by what it doesn't have in it, peat moss. Using premium ingredients in the absence of peat is key to getting rid of fungus gnats. Fungus gnats are attracted to peat moss, and almost all commercially available plant mixes are made with peat moss.
We make our mixes the old fashioned way -- no "secret ingredients", just the highest quality and finest media that can be had, and we tell you exactly what goes in to every one of our mixes. Would you have it any other way?
That's the way we do business too, no surprises, just impeccable service, lightning fast responsiveness and checking back with you on every order to make sure you are delighted with what you received. We treat you the same way we want to be treated. We treat your plants the same way, as we treat our own.
