Perennial Homestead Hot Pink Verbena – VERBENA c. ‘Homestead Hot Pink’ PP34360. 4-6” tall, 18-24” spread, full sun, late spring-fall bloom. Hot pink, star-shaped flowers cover this long blooming, trailing groundcover. Very tolerant to heat and drought. Mildew resistant. Frost tolerant. Attracts butterflies, hummingbirds, hummingbird moths and is bee friendly. Deer resistant. Zones 6b-9a. Potted in 3″ pot.
Prefers well-drained soils in a sunny location. It will not tolerate winter wet, and it's recommend to wait to cut back until all danger of frost has passed in spring. Fertilize monthly during the growing season to promote season-long flowering.
