Description
Pennisetum prefers to be grown in rich loamy soil with good drainage and full sun or light shade. However, it will grow in rocky or sandy soil as long as it remains fairly moist. This grass resents having “wet feet”.

Grass Hameln Dwarf Fountain Grass - grass PENNISETUM a. 'Hameln'. 2-3' tall, 1-2' spread, full sun. Finely textured leaves are especially lovely when backlit by the early morning sun. Soft greenish-cream panicles appear in mid-summer, a few weeks earlier than the species. Deer resistant. Zones 5-9. Potted in 3” pot.
