Description
PILEA peperomioides. 8-12" tall, 8-16" spreads, bright; indirect light but should be protected from direct sunlight. Unique, coin-shaped, glossy green leaves that grow on long, slender petioles. Blooms occasionally in spring or early summer, mature plants may produce tiny white or pale pink flowers on long, thread-like stems, though the blooms are modest and not the main attraction. Prefers well-draining soil and regular watering, allowing the top inch of soil to dry out between waterings. Zones 10-12, it is most often grown indoors in cooler regions. Potted in 3" pot.

Soil: Peat-based, well-draining mix
Temp & Humidity: 60–75 °F; average humidity
Fertilizer: Monthly in spring/summer
Notes: Rotate weekly for even growth; produces offsets easily
