Description
VERONICA ‘Candela Pink’ PPAF. 15-20″ tall, 8-12″ spread, part shade-full sun, late spring-late summer bloom. Slender upright spires of dark pink petals and soft silver-pink buds combine for both a bold and delicate touch. Prolific, long-blooming flowers glow against the bright-green, mildew-resistant foliage. Attracts butterflies & is bee friendly. Zones 5-9. Potted in 3″ pot.
Easily grown in average, medium moisture, well-drained soil in full sun. Best performance occurs with consistent, regular moisture with sharp soil drainage (particularly in winter). Tolerates light shade. Remove spent flower spikes to encourage additional bloom. Plants may be cut back to basal growth after flowering.
Great for rock gardens, container gardens, foundations, border fronts and other sunny spots in the landscape. Good edging plant. Best grown in groups or massed.
