ERYNGIUM p. ‘Blue Hobbit’. 12″ tall, 6-12″ spread, full sun, late summer-early fall bloom. Unique slate-blue globe-like flowers on silver blue stems. An adorable, short, compact Sea Holly. Tolerant of hot & dry sites. Attracts butterflies & is bee friendly. Zones 4-8. Potted in 3″ pot.
Grow this plant in full sun and very well-drained soil. Eryngium does not like to be overwatered. It spreads to form a small patch and tends to spread more quickly in light soil. The flower color tends to be more intense in higher temperatures.
