Perennial Chick Charms® Gold Nugget™ Hen and Chicks – SEMPERVIVUM ‘Chick Charms® Gold Nugget™’ PP28284 – Chick Charms® Series. 2-3″ tall, 6-8″ spread. Fleshy leaves start out lime green with a hint of light pink at the tips. Once winter sets in, the leaves turns bright gold with crimson red edges. A one of kind plant. Drought & heat tolerant. Deer & rabbit resistant. Zones 4-9. All potted in 3″ pot.
Sempervivum is the perfect plant for hot, dry, sunny locations with very well-drained soil. Though they can adapt to a variety of soil types, they perform best in gritty soil. If a groundcover effect is desired, space plants close together because they grow slowly.
